Episode 97: It’s Raining Cats and Dogs of Untranslatables
It’s an Untranslatable-Palooza! Animals are integral to many of the Untranslatables that we love all around the word. Chad and Jared focus on Untranslatables(Idioms, sayings, and proverbs for those of you that don’t know) from all over the world that use animals to paint a picture. First they do some free association to see what sort of different animals elicit in their brains. First, they spread a little love with some Shoutouts of The Pod, then they share some non-animal untranslatables before they get into the animal untranslatable-palooza. After, they share a song of the Pod from a local concert Chad went to in Chomutov, but he’s not Czech. Then, they share a Czech and Spanish Word of the Pod, share some jokes of the pod, and finish with a quote.
